About Your Practitioners
Alysa received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Sacred Paths Yoga in 2023, accredited by the International Yoga Alliance. Her journey with yoga began in 1993 during medical school, where she turned to mindfulness and movement practices to cultivate peace amidst the intensity of her training.
Inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the vibrant meditation community in Boston, Alysa deepened her personal practice through group and solo retreats while completing her psychiatry residency. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest in 1999, she has continued to study yoga and meditation with a variety of teachers, eventually formalizing her training decades later.
Today, Alysa maintains a dedicated daily practice and integrates mindfulness and energy medicine into her work as a private practice psychiatrist. As the co-owner and director of the Surya Chandra Center, she shares yoga as part of a holistic path to healing and wholeness, often in collaboration with other modalities offered at the center.

Judith Cunningham | Sound Healing Practitioner, HeartMath Mentor & Author
Judith Cunningham is a sound healing practitioner, HeartMath mentor, and author dedicated to guiding others toward inner balance, emotional healing, and deep self-connection. Through sound baths, tuning forks, singing bowls, and HeartMath techniques, she creates sacred spaces where individuals can realign their energy, release emotional blockages, and amplify their intentions.
Her journey into healing began with a profound realization —when we shift our energy, we shift our lives. Through her own experiences of transformation, Judith discovered the power of sound vibration and heart coherence in creating lasting change. Now, she shares these modalities with others, helping them access their own inner wisdom, clarity, and peace.
"Follow your heart; it will always lead you to amazing places and show you the truth."
– Judith Cunningham
As an author, Judith shares her insights and experiences, offering a heartfelt perspective on transformation, gratitude, and the unseen magic of life. Whether through the resonance of sound, the science of HeartMath, or the power of words, her work is rooted in the belief that true healing begins when we listen—to ourselves, our hearts, and the subtle energies around us.
