Italy’s Retreat at Podere Macchione

Interior view of a brick arched room with large glass doors showing a scenic landscape of hills and blue sky outside. There is a beige sofa with decorative pillows and a blanket, and tall plants in the foreground.

Nestled in the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany, near Siena, within the walls of a beautifully restored farmhouse, lies an invitation to pause, to breathe, and to return to yourself.

This exclusive women’s retreat is a carefully curated sanctuary, designed to harmonize vitality with deep tranquility. Each day unfolds as a gentle rhythm of nurturing practices: awakening the body with mindful mat pilates, journeying inward with immersive guided meditative sound baths—including a floating sound bath in the pool—and releasing the day with restorative myofascial rolling.

Beyond the mind and body connections, a private chef will craft exquisite, nourishing meals, and we will partake in a joyful pizza-making night and hands-on pasta workshop. We’ll also spend an evening in the medieval streets of Siena — aperitivo in hand, la dolce vita in full effect. Between sessions, time becomes yours — to wander the villa’s ancient grounds, to reflect by the pool with journal in hand, or to simply be, lulled by the Italian sun.

This is more than a getaway; it is a reconnection. A rare opportunity to unwind, to restore, and to connect with a profound sense of inner ease amidst the timeless beauty of Italy.

The Macchione Property

Tucked into the rolling hills just south of Siena, Villa Macchione is a beautifully restored farmhouse estate — 8 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms — that feels both grounded and luxurious. Original brickwork, travertine stone, and exposed wooden beams create a sense of calm from the moment you walk in.

Eight private en-suite bedrooms. Multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. A pool. Grounds that feel like they belong to another century. It is spacious enough to have privacy. Intimate enough to feel like home.

The nearest town is 7 minutes away. Siena is 30 minutes. Florence Airport pickup is included for all guests.

Between sessions, the villa is yours — to wander, to journal by the pool, to sit in the sun and do absolutely nothing.
