When and where is La Dolce Presenza?

May 24–28, 2027, at Villa Macchione, a beautifully restored farmhouse estate in the rolling hills just south of Siena, in Tuscany, Italy.

Who is this retreat for?

Women who are ready to slow down, reconnect and remember what joy feels like. The group is small and intimate, with 6–12 guests.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely, and many of our guests do. Two women who met through this retreat are now roommates for the week. Coming solo is one of the best ways to make lifelong friends.

Do I need Pilates experience?

Every level is welcome. Michelle of Mind Body Pilates guides each mat Pilates class with options for beginners and more advanced movers alike.

What does a typical day look like?

Each day flows with gentle rhythm: mindful mat Pilates to wake up the body, guided meditative sound baths (including a floating sound bath in the pool), restorative myofascial rolling, and plenty of open time to wander the grounds, journal by the pool or simply rest.

What’s included?

Four nights at the villa, every meal prepared by a private chef, a pizza-making night, a hands-on pasta workshop, an evening out in Siena, round-trip transportation from Florence, all Pilates, meditation and sound sessions, and a Rollga foam roller shipped to your home.

What should I plan for on my own?

Your flight to and from Florence. We also strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.

How much does it cost?

Shared rooms are $5,100 and private rooms are $5,400 per person. You can see every room on our Bedrooms page.

How do I reserve my spot?

A $500 deposit holds your room. You can pay in full when you book, or choose a payment plan where the remaining balance is split into automatic installments. With the payment plan, the full balance is due by February 24, 2027 (90 days before the retreat).

What is the cancellation policy?

The $500 deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel before February 24, 2027, all payments beyond the deposit are refunded in full. From February 24, 2027 onward, payments are non-refundable. If plans change, you can transfer your reservation to another guest with written approval from the retreat organizers.

How do I get there?

Fly into Florence. We provide round-trip transportation from Florence to the villa and back. Exact pickup and drop-off times will be shared closer to the retreat and will line up with check-in and check-out.

Can the chef accommodate dietary needs?

Yes. Our private chef can accommodate dietary needs such as vegetarian, gluten-free and allergies. Just let us know when you book so we can plan every meal around you.
