Join us for a slow, intentional walking sound journey across the expansive 55-acre grounds of The Surya Chandra Center—an immersive experience designed to bring you into deep presence with the land, your body, and the moment.
We’ll begin gathered together indoors with a grounding tea ceremony to settle the nervous system and set our collective intention. From there, we’ll move gently through the property, walking in mindful silence and sound, guided by the rhythms of nature around us.
As we wander, you’ll be guided by live sound—crystal bowls, chimes, and wave drum—carried with us as moving instruments, allowing sound to meet the landscape organically. Periodic pauses along the walk will offer moments for gentle voice-guided hypnosis, inviting reflection, grounding, and connection with the natural world.
This journey takes place during peak magnolia bloom on the land, offering a sensory experience of sound, scent, and sight as we move beneath flowering trees in their brief and beautiful season.
This is not a hike, but a slow, sensory journey. You’re encouraged to walk at a relaxed pace, take in the sights and sounds of nature, and allow the experience to unfold intuitively.
Light grab-and-go snacks and tea will be available before and after the journey.
